Meeting Agenda

MINUTES FOR N.H.B.F. MEETING HELD 7/25/06

Meeting called to order at 7:02PM

Read/Motion to Accept Agenda (See Appendix A): - agenda was accepted

Roll call: Clubs not present included, Back Bay (2), Bass Fanatics (2), Clearwater (5), Granite State (2), Hardcore (1), and Monadnock (1).

OFFICERS REPORTS:

Secretaries’ report:
• The July2006 minutes, by Dennis Watson and accepted as is. (See Appendix B):

Treasurers’ report:
• The June 2006 Treasurers report, by Karl Ingoldsby was presented and accepted as is. (See Appendix C):

Vice President's report:
• Dave Duffy was unable to attend the meeting.

President’s report:
• Rob wanted to thank all volunteers for the WHEB tournament it went well. A vote was taken to order patch’s and decals . The TBF national meeting is soon but we have nobody to go right now. We will get our info packets and any other info from Joe. Congrats to Dave Andrews and Scott Leppanen for winning the NHBF summer open. The state team profit was 1,000. The next open is the fall open on Squam. Rob is also to meet with Dave Duffy at the Campcare Free event on Aug 2nd to get the software used for the Treasurer’s report installed on the Federation laptop. Then the plans are to meet with Karl Ingoldsby and get him signed on to the Bank accounts so he can carry on his duties as our Treasurer.

Youth Directors report:
• Ray had a youth event on Highland lake and had about 17-18 kids. About 25 fish were weighed in with a 3.6 lunker Monadock hosted this event,.They had some prizes for the kids.
• CampCare Free event is Aug 2nd at Merry Meeting Lake. We are still looking for volunteers and boaters. See website for more details. Any questions, please contact Dick Smith.

Legislative & Conservation Director, PVA Director, Tournament Director, State Team Rep, Committee Rep reports / updates:
• PVA Director Gary Clauson. Gary is willing to take the position of the NH PVA Director. Gary thanked Chris for all his work and getting so many people involved in the PVA..The NH PVA Tournament is Sept 16 and needs more boats. He has the registration forms for the boaters. Gary asked Rob what the money from the WHEB tournament was going to. He would like to make it a fund raiser for the PVA.
• Legislative Director Dick Smith, The legislative session is done for the summer now.
• Conservation Director Dick Smith, Dick was not able to attend the meeting. It was brought up that the boat ramp at Meredith reads boats,motors and trailers must not be more than 30 feet in length total.

OLD BUSINESS:

• Summer Open Report – The meeting documents have the Results and Story (See Appendix D):

• State Teams:
The teams should already have their forms filled out, if not see Dave Andrews

• Constitution & ByLaws:
We have six people that are going to each take a small part of the constitution&bylaws and add or delete what they think needs to be in or out. Then they will pass it along to each other. Dick Smith is heading this up with Dave Duffy. Dave thinks this will take about three months.

• STQT Rules Changes:
There were no submittals for any STQT Rule Changes. Please make sure your clubs names and contacts are updated on the website because this is what the members will use to contact their boater/non-boaters for the STQT.

NEW BUSINESS:

• 2006 STQT: Clubs must turn in STQT Rosters and $115 at the August 22nd meeting (See Appendix E):

Dates: Sept 9th - 10th
Cut-Off Dates: Sept 5th - 8th
Waterbody: Lake Ossipee
Ramp and Registration: Ossipee Marina
Entry Fee: $115 (includes $15 promotional fee)
Lunker Fee: $10 split lunker (optional) paid at Registration
Ramp Fee: TBD paid at Reg
Registration: Friday 4 PM - 8 PM and Saturday 5 AM - 6 AM
STQT Cook-out: Saturday 9th @ 5:30 PM, place TBD

• NH BASS Federation Nation Request / Update: We had the vote to give the NHBFN $1,000 . A vote was taken and it was voted down. 9 no,3 Abstain and 0 yes. Rob will tell them what we decided.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS:

• Their will be a ramp fee at the STQT.
• Red Sox Tickets went to Hawg Hunters.
• John Woodman can do the TBF/FLW Embroidery logo on your shirts, or can order you new shirts. His home number is 603-527-1308.
• New TBF Website: The new TBF website hosted by Bass Fan is up and running. You can visit the new site at www.bassfederation.com. News, stories, standings, club events, etc can be sent to editor@bassfan.com for posting on the new TBF website.
• Action Items for August Meeting:
• Clubs must turn in STQT Rosters.
• Pairings will be done (if possible).
• Constitution and Bylaw status
• STQT Rules and Waivers will be passed out.
