Vice President's report:

President’s report:
Ron talked about the STQT and that we received the permit from NY. Best Western is a new motel in this area and are very interested in hosting our event. Ron talked about staying here and that we would receive a discount if you are from NHBF.
Youth Directors report:
Karl Ingoldsby offered to take this position and could not make the meeting, He will hopefully give a report at the next meeting in April.
PVA Report:
No Report on the PVA currently.
Conservation report/Legislative report:
Dick talked about current house bills, see handouts given out by dick. Dick expressed that we need to keep a strong eye out on these bills and vote accordingly.

Tournament Director:
The clubs were suppose to vote on having the state team act as tournament director. Jim Hanatow has stepped up and has volunteered for Tournament Director. Jim has already done an extensive amount of work looking into running these events. Jim was voted as tournament director and every club voted for Jim. Thank you Jim for stepping up and offering to help! Jim stressed that it will be real important that we act appropriately at this spring open. We are trying to build a relationship with Center Harbor and its extremely important that we tread lightly. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!
Constitutional Committee:

OLD BUSINESS:
Nationals/April:
Ron and Dick will not be at the next meeting but were are entertaining the fact of canceling the meeting and coming back in May. Ron and Dick will be at the Nationals that week plus it was too difficult to move nights. So the next meeting will be on May 13th.
Idea's on Fundraising:
Ron talked about different options on fundraising. Dick also mention we could do a combine banquet and that would help save money, we could also use this for fundraising as well.
Spring Open - April 26th operations:
Jim will handled any question pertaining to the opens this year. Any questions please see Jim.
Open Fees - verify:
The cost of the opens this year will be a flat fee of $145

NEW BUSINESS:
Advertising the Open:
NBBF is working on a flyer and this will be on the web soon,
Contingency plan - late ice out:
Winniquam was selected as an alternate body of water if Lake Winnipesaukee is still iced in on the 27th.
STQT Participation:
IMPORTANT: Moneys need to be in by end of March for membership in order to be eligible for the STQT. If your money is not in before the end of march you will not be eligible for the STQT in September. If you have any questions please see Ron Poirior or Bob Winslow for more info.
