MINUTES FOR N.H.B.F. MEETING HELD 10/24/2006

Meeting called to order at 7:02

Roll Call; Clubs not present included Back bay,Bass fanatics,Clearwater,Granite State,White mountain.

Read/Motion to Accept Agenda (See Appendix A): - agenda was accepted

OFFICERS REPORTS:

Secretaries’ report:
The September minutes by Dennis Watson & David Duffy were presented and accepted as is. (See Appendix B)

Treasurers’ report:
The September 2006 Treasurers report, by Dave Duffy was presented and accepted as is. (See Appendix C)

Vice President's report:
Dave has had a little more time this past month with work easing up alittle.He has been getting ready for the Constitution&Bylaws. He has sent out a few E-mails to those involved in the process of getting the C/Bylaws ready for review. Also still getting the TBF rosters together and ready for the 2007 season.

President’s report: Rob was unable to attend he was out of state for work.

Youth Directors report: The casting kids will have a non official contest for the kids at the state level. N.H. will have two kids going to the Bass Federation Championship in AL. Bradley Roy and Ben Bowen will be going to this event. Ray would like us to start thinking about what we might do for the kids events in 2007. The JR Bassmasters will be having a fund raiser spaghetti dinner on Nov 4 at the Laconia VFW.

Legislative & Conservation Director, PVA Director, Tournament Director, State Team Rep, Committee Rep reports / updates:

PVA Director Gary Clawson not in attendance

Legislative Director Dick Smith - The legislative season starts in mid Oct. Dick had a hand out on how a bill comes into law. See your club rep for this hand out. Conservation Director Dick Smith – Nothing new with winfab speed limit. There is money available for conservation from FLW. Dick would like to do some radio tagging of fish on winni.

OLD BUSINESS:

7:45 break

State Teams: The state team needs to meet at 5:30 on Nov 28 at the concord community center.

Fall open report. The fall open went good with a lot of good fish. We had alittle problem with the parking at the science center,all is good now. We need to donate some money to the center. We would to come up with some new ideas next year to get more of a turn out for the fall open.

Constitution&ByLaws The Constitution &ByLaws is in motion and if you would like to get in the e-mail chain let dave know.

2007 budget proposal general operating account.

VP and Treasurer nominations

ADDITIONAL ITEMS:

John Woodman talked about the margate as a possible place for the banquet.
