MINUTES FOR N.H.B.F. MEETING HELD 9/26/2006
Meeting called to order at 7:03
Roll Call; Clubs not present included Clearwater, Tri-City, White Mountain Bass
Read/Motion to Accept Agenda (See Appendix A): - agenda was accepted
OFFICERS REPORTS:
Secretaries’ report:
The Aug 22 minutes by Dennis Watson & David Duffy were presented and accepted as is. (See Appendix B)
Treasurers’ report:
The September 2006 Treasurers report, by Dave Duffy was presented and accepted as is. (See Appendix C)
Vice President's report:
Dave is still dealing with memberships and still doing the treasurers duties. Dave is also waiting for a membership list fro FLW.He is also getting ready to work on the Constitution & Bylaws.
President’s report: We had three TBF banners at the STQT. Rob thanked all the volunteers that helped out at the STQT. He thanked Wayne for having the trailer on site and also thanked Wayne, his wife and John Woodman for a great job with the cookout. Rob had a great time at the divisionals and gave congrats to Dave Andrews for his win.
Youth Directors report:
The Bass Federation has nothing in writing yet for casting kids. On Oct 7 the Bass Fed Nation will be having their STQT out of ames farms and will be having the casting kids contest. Rob also said that the National Guard is giving the TBF 1,000 dollars to give to each state to the youth programs.
Legislative & Conservation Director, PVA Director, Tournament Director, State Team Rep, Committee Rep reports / updates:
PVA Director Gary Clawson- The PVA event went very well. The weather was really nice. The PVA got a 10,000 dollar donation. Gary asked if he could get one of the TBF banners.
Legislative Director Dick Smith - Dick was unable to attend but did talk to Dave to pass on a few items. Winfab was able to have their meeting which Dick attended and said it was about 50-50 for and against. Dick gave them a written testimonial on behave of the NH BASS FED.
Conservation Director Dick Smith – There is a rumor that a large Largemouth kill out in front of Ames Farms. Fish and Game said that they will find out for them self. They plan on seeing some kill but not the amount that they have heard of.
OLD BUSINESS:
7:45 break
State Teams: STQT report. Congrats to the people who made the state team. The new state team must be at the fall open to set up and work. Club angler of the year is Mark Anthony. Thanks to little Hustler Baits for their donation to the STQT. Rob would like to do the STQT pairings the night before the tournament.
Fall open report. The state team must be at the tournament to work and set up. Bob was able to get the science center for parking. The weigh in site will be at the cottages at the beach on little Squam.
Constitution&ByLaws The Constitution &ByLaws work has not started yet.It is still about three months away.We will use the bylaws that we have right now as version #1
NEW BUSINESS:
Bob Winslow is our new treasure. He was Nominated at this meeting and said he would take the position.
Three clubs still owe money for the STQT. Back Bay 60.00, Granite State 230.00, and Sail-em 115.00 .
Club vs Club tournament. The club will get back to rob this week as to were it will be. The date is Oct 22 and may be on the ct. river
Fed Banquet, John Woodman is checking out the Lodge at Belmont. The date is Jan 27th.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS:
The Bubba Bassin Half & Half is at states landing on Oct 28.
New TBF Website: The new TBF website hosted by Bass Fan is up and running. You can visit the new site at www.bassfederation.com. News, stories, standings, club events, etc can be sent to editor@bassfan.com for posting on the new TBF website.
