2007 February Minutes Meeting called to order at 7:18 Read/Motion to Accept Agenda (See Appendix A): - agenda was accepted Roll call: Clubs not present included, Bass Finatics, Clearwater, Granite State Bassmasters,New Hampshire Bass Casters.. OFFICERS REPORTS: Secretaries’ report: The Jan, Minutes were read and accepted as is. Treasurers’ report: The treasurers report was not read at the time of the meeting. Dave Duffy was unable to attend the meeting and Bob Winslow did not have the treasurers records at this time. Rob gave Bob the access codes for the account along with debit cards. Vice President's report: Nothing new from the vice president, Dave was unable to attend the meeting. President’s report: Rob thanked John and Dennis for taking care of the Fed banquet. Rob was very pleased with the amount of people who attended. Rob also said that the food was great that night and also the next morning. The nationals are in April, Rob wished good luck to Dave Andrews and Martin Look. Youth Directors report: Ray had some plaques to hand out that he had missed at the banquet. One went to Hardcore bass and one went to John Woodman from Lakes region. He passed around the updated tournament sheet for the juniors tournaments for the up coming season. Ray had just got back from the JWC. Travis Foster and Ben Bowen fished in the event. It was really cold the first day. Ben Bowen won a trophy for his age group. Manchester bass has an interest in starting a youth club. Ray said that with much regret that he has to resign from the position of Youth Director for the NH Bass Federation. Rob thanked Ray for all the time he had put in for the youth and for doing a great job at it. Legislative & Conservation Director, PVA Director, Tournament Director, State Team Rep, Committee Rep reports / updates: PVA Director Gary Clauson . Gary thanked everyone for the support of the PVA at the show at Rockingham . There was a registration form for the NBS TOC in the minutes packet. One for the disabled NEPVA angler and one for a Able-Body Boat Captain. Legislative Director Dick Smith – Dick went over some bills that he’s been tracking. SB 110,HB 847,HB 290 HB 411 HB 519 HB 189 HB 815 SB ? SB 26. These and other bills were all in the minuets hand out . You should get with your club rep if you would like to read them. Conservation Director Dick Smith – OLD BUSINESS: Fed banquet : Rob thanked John and Dennis again for a good job. Also gave congratulations to Dick Smith and Wayne Frost for getting the man of the year awards. No break taken NEW BUSINESS: Rob is still waiting for minnkota and polar bat deals to be signed.
