NHBF Improved Payout Schedule for Open Tournaments

Open Payout Details (must have excel)

The New Hampshire B.A.S.S. Federation is proud to announce a new improved payout schedule for all open tournaments. The new payout formula is based on paying back a spot for every 6 boats entered in the competition. In other words, a 60-65-boat field will pay 10 places. The entry fees will be $125/team. This will help boost overall payouts. The big change for the involves the total payout, which is increased from 70% to 80%.

While other tournament organizations have struggled in recent years, the NH B.A.S.S. Federation has sustained solid growth. Our series of 3 open tournaments have recently gained in popularity and these new payout changes are intended to insure the growth and success of our tournaments. Our open tournaments now feature one of the most attractive payouts in the New England region. Our tournaments have always drawn rave reviews from competitors and we strive to provide the angling public with a professionally run tournament circuit. Our tournament staff includes hard-working Tournament Director Bob Hurst and all 13 members of the State Team, which are on hand to work the various jobs required of running a successful tournament.

As always, our Open Tournaments (Spring, Summer and Fall) will feature a guaranteed first place prize of $1000 (based on a 26 boat minimum) as well as 2 paid (one boater and one non-boater) slots for the upcoming NH B.A.S.S. Federation STQT. Our opens have averaged between 55 to 65 boats the last few seasons. Tournament hours will be the standard 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with registration between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. for each event. Additionally we have several sponsors that provide additional prizes to tourney competitors. The New Hampshire Federation has a traveling trailer full of weigh-in equipment that is brought to every tournament. Our weigh-in procedure, complete with chemically treated cool water tanks allows tournament caught fish the highest chance for post release survival. We are very proud of our 99% survival rate, which we have averaged over the last several years.

In another unprecedented step the New Hampshire B.A.S.S. Federation has decided to post our FULL pay-out schedule on this website so anglers know exactly what pay-outs will be and how many places will be paid regardless of the number of boats that enter a given tournament. There are no tricks such as basing payouts on an inflated number of boats and keeping extra money from boats over the proposed payout schedule. We have nothing to hide and a full 80% of entry fees will be returned to the competing anglers at each tournament. We invite interested anglers to check out our new payout schedule.

The NH B.A.S.S. Federation invites anglers to check us out at any of our upcoming Open events.
