President's Message - March 2010

Well Groundhog Day came and we were blessed with more winter. I personally know of a few that wouldn't mind making a gumbo out of him. Well anyway, with March now here we are already starting to watch for open water and some of us are seeing it. It won't be long now.

We have some exciting things going on. We are still selling tickets for the Minn Kota Trolling Motor and are waiting on each club to send us their ticket money. Don't forget Sandy at Northern Bass is selling tickets and will continue to do so until our Summer Open. All proceeds from the sale of this motor go toward funding for our State Team. Again, Thank you Sandy and all of the Northern Bass Crew for all your help and support We have some great news from Berkly, Berkley is offering club members discounts, so contact Bayard Lohmiller for more information if you are interested bayardnh@metrocast.net.

We passed our new Constitution at the February meeting. This will be posted soon so keep watching the web site along with our February meeting minutes. Keep visiting our web site, as time goes on, this will continue to be updated and will be our hub for information. We are in the process of pursuing an opportunity to create a Team of the Year. As this opportunity develops, we will keep you posted. So Come on Down and see what the excitement is about. Our first event is April 25th out of Center Harbor.
